However, when the original controller stopped working more than 6 years ago, the owner wasn’t left with many options. Faced with either scrapping an otherwise mechanically sound machine, or retrofitting a modern, user friendly control system onto the legacy MASTER EDGE CNC, the owner chose the latter. MDSmotion was able to restore functionality to the MASTER EDGE CNC, enabling the machine to run for many more years to come.

The result is software that can read INTERMAC’s ‘.cni’ format, making it compatible with INTERMAC’s ‘Genius’ range of Automatic Glass Cutting lines.

Golden Arrow Waterjet is a very popular brand of waterjet cutting machine, having exported hundreds of machines all over the globe. This particular machine had been running well in a factory in Queensland, Australia since it was originally installed in 2008. However, after it was sold to a new owner recently, it was decided that since the original controller on the machine was based on obsolete PCI hardware, the machine’s controller should be updated to a more future proof solution.
