The R2-S600 is an Open/Closed Loop, 2 Phase Stepper Motor Driver based on the Realtime Express (RTEX) Protocol by Panasonic. It is compatible with MDSmotion’s line of RTEX Motion Controllers and can be used in the same system as Panasonic’s RTEX line of Servo Amplifiers. A Motion Control System based on the RTEX Protocol greatly reduces complexity of the system wiring as all control connections between the Controller and Servo Amplifiers are carried out with standard LAN Cable. Parameters in each R2-S600 can be monitored and updated via the RTEX network. A Fully Featured API is also provided for custom software development.
